Hola amigos del Internet!
Happy Monday to you all!
I'm thrilled that it's Monday today. You know, yesterday, I had a horrible migraine. It might be because of the new medication I'm taking for the endometriosis. What a charm, right? Life always has a way of teaching us something—whether it's how to let go, how to embrace, or whatever wonder we need to discover.
But hey, let's keep the positivity flowing! Today is a fresh start, a canvas ready to be painted with new experiences and discoveries.
Speaking of canvases, I've been on an art journey lately. Painting has been my sanctuary, my place of solace where I can lose myself in a world of colors and shapes. It's incredible how each brushstroke can be a reflection of one's soul. Art, for me, is a bridge between the tangible and the spiritual, a way to express the inexpressible.
I've been experimenting with different techniques, trying to push the boundaries of my creativity. It's like embarking on a thrilling adventure every time I pick up a paintbrush. And you know what? I've stumbled upon some truly magical discoveries in my art. The process of creation, the dance between the colors, the way each piece evolves—it's a constant reminder of the beauty that exists in the act of creation itself.
The latest painting is this hanging tomatoes painted on wood.
Now, let's talk about another form of art—the art of nature. Lately, I've been taking long walks in the woods. There's something enchanting about the rustling of leaves, the whispers of the wind, and the symphony of birdsong that fills the air. It's as if the forest itself is a canvas, painted with the hues of every season.
During these walks, I've discovered the profound connection between art and nature. The way sunlight filters through the leaves, casting intricate patterns on the forest floor, or how the colors of autumn blend together in perfect harmony—it's all a masterpiece in its own right.
And in the stillness of the woods, I find a sense of peace that transcends words. It's a reminder that art isn't confined to a canvas; it's all around us, in every leaf, every branch, and every sunset.
So, here's to embracing Mondays and the beauty they bring, even in the face of migraines and medication. Life's lessons come in many forms, and we're here to paint our stories, one stroke at a time.
Now, are you ready for this week’s discoveries?
TO READ: OH-MY-GOD, this book has blown my mind. I’m speechless. I need to say I haven’t finish it yet. But so far. I can say say is one of my favorites. It feels truthful and honest and if you are in the mood for some spiritual, fun, eye opening reading, this is your book. You can find it used in Amazon. It is called The Disappearance of the Universe: Straight Talk about Illusions, Past Lives, Religion, Sex, Politics, and the Miracles of Forgiveness
TO SEE: Hubby and I started watching The Innocents on Netflix, an so far it’s so cool. It’s a little bit sci-fi and romance. And it has this quality of color that i love so much, like muted colored.
TO CREATE: I started a new watercolor while an oil painting dries and while I finish the sketch for my next oil painting. I’m loving this new watercolor because I started it with no plan and no sketch. And I love the freedom of it. I love what it is showing me, the flow, the surprise, the unexpected color palette. And I totally recommend to do, not just art, but any activity with no plan, no seriousness, no sketch. Let me show you:
And last but not least.
TO COZY UP: I have a new line of cozy hoodies with 4 different designs. Hear me Roar, Find Peace, Be Still and ReLOVution. Let yourself be hugged by art.
Here they are, in case you wanna look around:
So my dear friends, thank you for joining me on this artful adventure. Let's celebrate life, art, and the wondrous discoveries that await us.
Stay tuned for more colorful tales and artistic escapades in the coming weeks.
Wishing you a fantastic Monday and a week filled with creativity and inspiration!
