Nature is generous, but it is also wise. The ocean kisses the shore but never drowns the land. The trees offer shade but do not bend until they break. The flowers bloom, sharing their fragrance, but they do not force themselves to grow where they cannot thrive.
Nature knows how to give—freely, beautifully—but it also knows when to set limits.
As artists, as humans, as souls walking this world, we often struggle with boundaries. We want to be there for others, to say yes, to give endlessly. But just like the river that stays within its banks to flow strong, we must learn that boundaries are not barriers—they are the shape that allows our energy to move with power and purpose.
A well-placed “no” can be an act of love. A moment of stillness can be a gift to ourselves. A space held sacred is a space where we can grow.
This week, take a lesson from the trees, the rivers, and the wildflowers. Give, but do not deplete. Love, but do not lose yourself. Create, but honor your own space.
The world needs you whole.
With Love & Sparkles,
Ishani
To Watch: Hubby and I watched The Days on Netflix, and it’s about a nuclear disaster in Fukushima Daiichi. I like to see documentaries and read about nuclear plants, to understand the nuclear energy and people’s interests.
To try: The other day, for unexpected circumstances I ended having lunch with hubby in his office. It is definitely something we wanted to do for so long, but plans didn’t work out…until this day. It was truly lovely, a precious moment, a beautiful reminder to do this little things because they are in no way little, actually those moments are the greatest of all.
Unsolicited advise: Practice Saying a Loving No – This week, notice when you feel obligated to say yes but truly need to say no. Honor your energy with kindness and firmness.
