Hello my dear Monday Lovers,
Today's blog post is one that I've been eagerly waiting to share with you all. It's about a magical experience that recently unfolded in my life – witnessing the mesmerizing beauty of the Northern Lights for the very first time.
For as long as I can remember, I've been captivated by the allure of the Aurora Borealis. Its ethereal dance across the night sky has always felt like a glimpse into another world, a realm where magic and spirituality intertwine. So, when the opportunity finally arose to chase this elusive spectacle, I knew I had to seize it.
The journey began with a long-standing desire, a yearning to witness nature's own light show in all its glory. But more than just a physical journey, it was also a journey of the soul, a quest to connect with something greater than myself. As a painter, I've always believed in the power of art to transcend boundaries and touch the essence of our humanity. And so, I embarked on this adventure with an open heart and a sense of wonder.
The night of our expedition was no ordinary night. Alongside hubby and Ophelia, we set out on a midnight drive, guided by the promise of celestial magic. As we drove deeper into the wilderness, surrounded by the silent beauty of the night, anticipation coursed through my veins.
And then, it happened. Like a painter's brush sweeping across the canvas of the sky, ribbons of green and pink began to unfurl before our eyes. It was a sight that words could scarcely describe – a symphony of light and color that seemed to transcend the confines of the material world.
In that moment, as I stood beneath the shimmering curtain of the Northern Lights, I felt a profound sense of awe wash over me. It was as if the universe itself had reached out to touch my soul, reminding me of the infinite possibilities that lie beyond the realm of the ordinary.
But perhaps what struck me most deeply was the realization that magic isn't something reserved for fairy tales or distant dreams – it's woven into the very fabric of our existence, waiting to be discovered in the most unexpected of places. From the dance of the Northern Lights to the stroke of a paintbrush, magic surrounds us, if only we're willing to open our eyes and see.
As I reflect on that night, I'm reminded of the importance of gratitude – gratitude for the beauty that surrounds us, gratitude for the gift of creativity, and gratitude for the moments of wonder that remind us of our own unique place in the universe.
So, dear amigos, as you go about your week, I encourage you to embrace the magic that lies within and around you. Whether it's witnessing the beauty of nature, creating art, or simply being present in the moment, may you always be willing to see the magic in life.
Until next Monday,
Love & Sparkles!

To try: You know people is always saying we need to try something different every day? Well that sounds like a lot, so I’m starting on my pace. New thing #1 I tried is to assemble something. I’ve always believe that’s not a skill of mine, so this time I didn’t pay attention to that belief and I assemble our patio table and chairs for the summer. It’s IKEA, so I guess a kid could assemble that, but for me it was a great deal. I managed to put the chairs together and I saved the hubby sometime. It showed me I might be able of doing more than my mind would say.
To drink: As our little furniture was looking all beautiful and the sun was very shiny, air super clean and fresh we decide to drink our morning coffees outside. So I would strongly recommend to grab your favorite drink and drink it outside. In the garden, the sidewalk, the park, an open parking lot, wherever you can and like just to have your drink outdoors, breathing the nature and oh, no cellphones are allowed.
To create: So a few years ago a friend of mine gave me a little tiny glass bottle she collected in Las Vegas and one of these say I went for my walk with Ophelia and we collect tiny little flowers. So I created a flower arrangement with wildflowers we found in the trail. It was so simple! But it made a huge difference in my studio desk and my heart.
