November's Last Monday

Hey, wonderful souls out there!

Gosh, time sure knows how to sprint, doesn't it?

Hola amigos del Internet!

I hope life's treating you fabulously. As for me, I'm grappling with a flu bug that decided to hitch a ride the moment I returned home from our trip. With the mess I left behind, plus the cleaning chores, laundry extravaganza, and my studio resembling a tornado aftermath, handling it all with a stack of tissues in tow has been, well, interesting.

Slowly but surely, I'm bouncing back.

I've recently upgraded to a new phone, and let me tell you, navigating this tech galaxy feels like exploring uncharted territory! Clouds, numbers from different countries—it's a whole other world for me! So, I'm taking my time to get acquainted with this new gadget.

Also, I've got this book on standby—a long-awaited treat for the holiday season. Since we're not planning the usual family visits this Christmas, we've already begun embracing some delightful traditions.

Our first stop? A cozy Christmas tree farm! We picked out a splendidly grand tree that's filling the house with the most heavenly scent.

Post-tree purchase, we hung our traditional mistletoe—because 'tis the season for loads of smooches! Sure, with me being sick, it could've caused a health hazard for hubby... but lo and behold, he's caught the bug too, so our kissing spree has officially kicked off! A bit gross, I know—please, no judgments! (Laughs)

Honestly, I wasn't feeling the Christmas spirit much, but ever since we moved here, Rudolph seems to have taken up residence in my soul. Now, I'm all about those classic Christmas vibes, and I'm loving every moment of it.

Do you have any festive traditions that you adore? Are you being taken over by Rudolph or Frosty, or is this holiday season just not your cup of cocoa?

I'd love to share a quick video of our little family of 3 tradition with you.

Here's a peek at our cozy holiday list:

1. Head to the farm and pick out our tree.

2. Grab breakfast and coffee (or hot chocolate) on the go.

3. Jingle all the way to the farm with Christmas carols playing.

4. Decorate the tree with twinkling lights and ornaments, serenaded by an El Paso radio station.

5. Sip more coffee and hot chocolate.

6. Hubby fires up the grill for a lunch break.

7. We munch on spicy candies (gummies for me, chips for hubby).

8. Take a tiny festive light tour in town (for my birthday, which falls during the holiday season).

9. I used to fancy a horror movie, but that might've changed by now...

10. Dive into books or take an online course—here's the book I got for this cozy break of ours.

Though we love spending this time with family, it's not always feasible.
It's crucial to embrace and relish whatever the present moment offers.
That's my commitment—making the most out of life, giving it my all.

Speaking of commitment, I'm diving into a new painting style. It's an ongoing exploration deeply rooted in self-discovery. I'm studying and honing this style, hoping to materialize it into a collection and share it with you here soon. Fingers crossed for the next Monday blog!

In the meantime, check out my new cozy-season merch and original artworks—ideal for heartfelt, artsy gifting this year. Thank you endlessly for supporting my art and, above all, my dream.
