Hola amigos from this cozy corner of the internet! I hope you guys are enjoying a beautiful moment right now, an enjoyable, smooth moment.
I am. And I’m definitely grateful for this. I’ve been observing a lot lately and I discovered that to be able to see magic or just even to find the bright side of things it’s a rare blessing. Not rare because it’s almost inexistente but because not everybody is interested.
A lot of people are interested in finding the error and then complaint about it. A few make something different but most of what I’ve seen is just the habit to see the wrong and complain and suffer.
So, this moment as it is, is enough for me. And I can appreciate the wonders right now.
I’m immensely grateful for the simple things that make my heart sing. Smelling the crisp autumn air, watching the golden shades on the leaves, walking with hubby and Ophelia, bake oatmeal dishes and working a lot in my art.
Yes, even working a lot. I love it, it’s my dream and I dedicate my life to it because I love it, enjoy it and makes me so happy.
Sometimes people think artists don’t work, they just paint/ sculpt/ take photos… whenever they want, if they feel inspired. Reality for me is not like that.
In my business I’m the artist, the student, the teacher, the photographer, the social media manager, the curator, the sales person, the community manager, the shipping department, the designer, the accountant…and I enjoy it all. Well, not packaging really lol. Plus you know, all the grown up things like cleaning vacuuming, cooking, shopping the groceries…and all that. I’m blessed to have a husband that also works with me with all the haus (excuse my german sneaky words haha) things, it’s team work. But still there’s a lot of stuff!
Also, the plants, the walks in the woods, the tons of books I want to read, the art exercises, the meditation moments, the journaling…you know all those moments that are for me.
Do you have those? What are those moments made of?
And then I come to my struggle point, not all people will understand. Not everybody will understand that a life exist in which you are content by being alone, or happy even if you are not going from party to party. A quiet, cozy life, full of watercolors, silence, walks in the woods, still moments full of books and coffee is enough, it’s more than enough! For some of us is a dream! A perfect life.
And I’ve learned that I need to be ok with not everybody getting it. I do understand people love other lifestyles, I get it, I think if that makes them happy it’s the best they can do! To continue with it and be content and happy!
But again, not everybody will understand this other kind of lifestyle.
So for now, I’ll keep reminding myself that it’s ok if people don’t understand.
I, myself, don’t understand so much! And being ok to be misunderstood.

To eat: OMG I’m so excited to share this lol. If you like candy, hard, crunchy candy and everything coconut like me, I discovered these. Well, not me, me. Hubby brought me one and as soon as I tasted it I started googling to find them lol.
To do: I read about Solvitur Ambulando which means “It is solved by walking”. And that’s what I do so many many times. Instead for thinking and over-thinking about it I just go out and walk. I walk and listen to leaves moving, or crunching under my feet, I breath deeply, I feel the cold air in my face..I walk it. And most of the time magic nature comes with a miracle, a lightness, a surprise…Try it, if you want.
To drink: I love, love, hot chocolate, like traditional Mexican hot chocolate. But I don’t always have the cacao tablets or time. So I tried pure grounded cacao, not sugar or anything added, with hot water or oatmeal milk, honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I love the taste the cinnamon gives to the drink. I think is perfect for this autumn days. And I’ll make a little commercial here, I’ve been selling a lot of the Catrinas mugs and I think they come out very beautiful and good quality, so if you wanna try the hot chocolate or you daily coffee on those you can get them here.
