Monday Contemplation: Magic, Mushrooms, and Connection!

Hello, my fellow Monday lovers!

Can you feel that little spark? ✨ It’s Monday—a fresh start, another blank canvas!

This week, I’m diving into something I’m so excited to share with you: a new collab project with a fellow artist. Together, we’re bringing mushrooms to life in our art! 🍄
Just like mushrooms connect and nurture the forest underground, we’re creating a collection of pyrography, oil and watercolors that celebrates our own beautiful interconnections.

Just as fungi weave unseen networks beneath the forest floor, connecting trees and nourishing life, we, too, are bound by invisible threads of connection, sharing energy, support, and growth in the vast forest of humanity.

Isn’t it wonderful how we’re all woven into this big, intricate tapestry? Mondays are a great reminder of that—connecting us to a rhythm that’s new and familiar all at once.

So here’s to this Monday 🥂, to fresh collaborations, and to the invisible threads that tie us all together. Let's make today a celebration of connection and creativity!

How can you connect with someone you like/love today?

To drink: Ok, don’t laugh, don’t judge, but lately I’ve been getting headaches when I drink one of my favorites red wines. People says it’s because I’m 40 now…actually in a 33 days I’ll be 41. So I’ve suffering a bit. Now I’m trying whites and I do like them. This is not my final statement lol, because I’m a red wine person, but so far I’m liking the Chateau Ste Michelle Chardonnay. In case you have the age, and the interest.

To read: Or not to!!! I read Flowers in the Attic. Oh my God! It’s horrible!! I mean, the story is horrible, I like the way it’s written though. But geez! Hubby warned me that it was a sad story, and I didn’t get sad (well in one moment I did), but I got really angry! Lol. Please don’t have kids if you are not a million percent sure of loving them and take proper care of them! Anyway, I read there’s more of this story, I don’t think I’m gonna read those books. It was a telenovela for me.

To eat: Do you remember those cookies, those candies, that cereal you ate when you were a kid? I bought myself a little box of Barnum’s Animals Crackers and oh God, they taste like nothing lol, like not good, but also not bad haha, what I can say is that even though my taste changed I like them and they brought a smile to my face. What about trying some of those old snacks?

To do: I know it might sound weird for some of you, but as I don’t have the best memory I’m afraid of not remembering the colors, the lights, the beautiful moments and things I’ve seen. So I took photos of everything I love. So I’ve started an album on my phone, dedicated to my memories. Not for instagram or social media show off, but for me. And every time I visit that album it feels so sacred, so full of love and beauty and at the end I finish the visit to the album with a fluffy, content heart and the biggest smiles not just in my face but in my soul.
