Questing Through Love, Art, and Chocolate: A Magical Monday Adventure!

Hola Amigos del Internet!!!

How are you guys this Magic Monday?
If you’ve been reading my Monday Blog hopefully you feel better about Mondays.

Today is a new awesome opportunity to make of your perspective the perfect way of living.
And I’m telling you this, because the other day I read:

And it does makes sense to me!
I think this is how I’ve been living my life for several years now. And although not everything feels great every single time, it’s a pretty good way of approaching life, and hey, whatever it works for each of us!

That’s a simple yet powerful way of living. Not sticking to rules that doesn’t make our heart sing.

It doesn’t matter if does not make sense to others, but if you feel your heart getting fluffier and happier with your life I would say you have the most amazing life!
I’ve heard sooo many times “you’re crazy”, “that doesn’t make sense”, “you’re very weird”, “but why?”, "I don’t understand you”…and more! And sometimes I’ve grabbed those words and my heart has cried, and sometimes I’ve believed that and it had hurt…a lot.

But not that long ago I understood it’s ok. People has opinions, broken hearts…but in the highest truth we are beyond all judgments, beyond ideas, beyond separation. (imo)

And as far as I can tell, we just have this life.
We might want live it in that way, without individuality, transcending limited perceptions, experiencing Oneness and Freedom and Delight!

And we are all here, all together, following the clues, walking this journey of discover who we really are, we are all here in this magical Quest. It’s a shame when we loose ourselves trying to make sense to a bunch of rules and judgments. And it is glory, when we wake up.

And talking about the journey, the clues, the discovery, I want to share with you that this week I’ve been super busy getting everything ready for my first Solo Exhibition in the US: “The Quest”

The gratefulness is immeasurable. Please, if you are in the area feel free to stop by on February 6th, look at the art, buy some if you feel like, have a glass of wine and chat live with me. I would be happy to see you there.

Here is all the information of the event.

As you may or may not know, I’m also exhibiting 3 illustrations in another show called The Pink Show, here in Portland on February 2nd.

As you might guess I’m super excited, honored and grateful.

This week I laso finished the second large piece of my new Green Era Series, I celebrated with my painting at night. Just the 2 of us, being grateful and excited for the next one to come.

I also started one of this year’s commissions. It’s a painting of chocolates, for a Chocolate Shop in Washington, and let me tell you, it’s been challenging since the sketch, not because of the technicalities but because I want to eat chocolate all the time, lol. It’s been hard haha, but I’m enjoying painting them.

I still have open spots for commissions in case you are interested. Just shoot me an email. I can’t wait to see the finished chocolates and I’m excited about the next one in line, I’ll show you as soon as I finish the yummy chocolates. An extra good thing is that one of the chocolates is truffled one with lavender…I mean, what? Heavenly stuff downloaded to the mortals lol, on the best sense of the joke.

Well my dear amigos, it’s time for this entry to finish.
Because I’m beyond busy aaaaand because you have it ALL to keep rocking this Monday and please remember, it is your perspective of things, your attitude what makes the difference in your life and others’s.

For now let me tell you GRACIAS for your existence and for your flavor in this life.

I hope you enjoy this

To eat: OMG!! Salt & Straw Lavender & Honey ice cream goes beyond any dream one can have. I’m sure heaven taste like this ice cream. I mean it taste like real lavender, not that strange smell/taste of the hand creams or fake lavender shampoos, but freaking real lavender! You should try it if theres a shop close to you.

To do something nice for the animals: Ok, so we had an ice storm last week, and lots of bird and animals lost their houses. So I just put this beautiful hummingbird feeder in the patio a few days ago and yesterday I could hear them flying, hopefully they noticed that it’s food for them there. This was a present from my baby brother, but if you can’t or don’t want to buy, you can make you own or feed other birds or bees!

To take care of: I love plants. I' was good at being the plant lady back in Mexico, but I still don’t master the understanding of the weather here. We have not much sun, so it’s been difficult for me to take care of plants. So the other day I adopted an orchid and I think she’s gonna survive. I found this blog and I’m following their advice. I bought her a pot with a smily face and eyes closed. Check the photos at the end. I feel like it is meditating and also that that vibe helps my new little plant.

To watch: I’m lately obsessed with interior design. And I know, I’m an architect, I should know those things, but I simply don’t. I know how to combine colors in my palette but not in my living room, I can pull awesome color combinations on a canvas but not in an outfit. So I stumbled upon Nick Lewis channel. A pretty cool and fun guy from Canada with interior design advice, and it’s his honesty and sense of humor what got me. I still know nothing about coaches and rugs but i love watching it while eating gummies.

Big hug to all of you and for now,

Love & Sparkles!!
