A Month of Magic: Spain, London & Coming Home

Hola amigos del Internet!

How are you guys doing? I—despite this sore throat—am doing amazing.

Hubby and I just came back from almost a month of traveling through Spain and the UK. Both countries have a special place in my heart, and this trip filled me with so much beauty, inspiration, and magic.

Spain: meditation, mountains, and sunrises

First, we attended an Ascension Meditation retreat. We were able to see our beloved Teacher and a lot of old and new friends from all over the world. I always love letting myself be amazed by their traditions, their languages, and, most of all, their passion for living life fully.

I feel very honored to share this beautiful and bright path with Hubby. It is so amazing to share the love for consciousness. We met 25 years ago in a community service group, so I’m glad we are still on the path of love.

We spent hours with our eyes closed on a beautiful mountain in Spain, meditating. I know that doesn’t sound appealing to some, but hey, that is how we cultivate the muscle of observation, enjoyment, and magic that we use in our daily lives. So, it was amazing.

We ate like royalty. The chef is more like a wizard than a cook in the kitchen.

I woke up every day to wonderful sunrises. Some days, the clouds would touch the mountain; other days, the sky looked like fire; and on others, I could clearly see the Mediterranean Sea… Every morning was a gift.

We walked up to the cliffs and saw everything… even the perfection in every single step of our path.

We toured La Sagrada Familia again because the Jesus Tower is done! Every year we go to Spain, we visit this place. Gaudí is one of my absolute favorite artists of all time.

London: clouds, art, and inspiration

After Spain, we visited London. Oh, how much I love it there!

The sunshine stayed in Spain, and in London we had beautiful clouds, full of water, sprinkling their abundance on us. We walked, ate, listened to music, and saw art… oh, what a beautiful stay!

I didn’t take my art materials with me for several reasons, and although I felt the necessity to paint, I lived every moment to the max and enjoyed it more than ever.

I got to visit Rothko’s art, Joan Mitchell’s work, and so many other artists who inspire me deeply. My artist heart is full.

Back home: the Green Era and Austin Studio Tour

Now I’m back home with many ideas for my Green Era Collection. By the way, I added a couple of new designs to my online store—check ’em out!

I’m also preparing everything for the Austin Studio Tour 2026. If you are in the Austin area, don’t forget to visit! I will have numbered and signed, limited-edition fine art giclées available.

Stay in touch, and remember to shoot me an email if you wanna say hello.

For now, may you have an awesome week, and I hope you are able to see the magic that surrounds you.

Love & Sparkles,

Ishani
